The Ascent Program gives young people time away from their everyday environment to engage in intensive mentoring, outdoor recreation and personal development.
Across 10 days, structured routines and shared experiences create opportunities to practise life skills, take responsibility, build resilience and discover personal strengths.

Ascent is designed for young people who would benefit from intensive structure, mentoring and personal development in a residential setting.

The Ascent Program runs for 10 days. It is based across the state of Tasmania. It is an intensive residential development experience built around structured routines, mentoring and practical activities. Mainland participants are encouraged to engage in the program with travel assistance provided.
The program combines outdoor recreation, individual mentoring, daily routines, life skills, leadership development and community activities. The program is intensive and encourages young people to step outside their comfort zones. Participants can expect to engage in rural and remote areas of Tasmania’s wilderness. Our team can provide current intake dates, availability, costs and eligibility information. Please enquire before making arrangements for a young person to attend. Ascent is not cheap. It is a program with intensive supports and experiences a young person may only do once in their lifetime. The staff facilitating this program are the best youth facilitators in the country.
