JCP Youth and St.Lukes have announced a free Hobart session exploring how stronger connections can help adults better understand and support young people.

Connection Before Correction is scheduled for Wednesday 10 June, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, at the St.Lukes Health Hub in Hobart. The one-hour session is designed for parents, carers, educators and anyone who works with young people.

Relationships at the centre

The session will focus on strategies to strengthen relationships, improve communication and reduce conflict. It will also explore what young people need to thrive and why meaningful connection can support positive influence, resilience and lasting change.

JCP Youth and St.Lukes describe the session as practical and engaging, with evidence-informed strategies for the adults in young people’s lives. Its broad audience reflects the different settings in which those relationships develop, from family life to education and work with young people.
