Expressions of interest

Bring consistency.
Build connection.

We are looking for people who can build trust, hold boundaries, stay calm under pressure and work with young people in real environments. JCP Youth work is not easy, but it is meaningful.

Positions become available in our teams throughout the year. When they do, we first look through expressions of interest and contact suitable applicants.

The areas below introduce our teams. Send an expression of interest to tell us where you see yourself contributing.

From direct support to program delivery, leadership and governance, every team contributes to our work with young people.

Youth Response

Youth Response provides rapid, flexible support for young people during escalation, crisis or critical moments. The team works after-hours and in high-pressure situations to stabilise behaviour, support decision-making and reduce risk.

Program Facilitators

Program Facilitators work directly with young people to build relationships, deliver engagements and support behaviour change. They hold clear expectations while providing consistent, structured support across day-to-day activities.

Senior Facilitators

Senior Facilitators lead by example in the field, supporting complex engagements and guiding less experienced staff. They take on higher-level decision-making and help maintain consistency, safety and standards across the program.

Team Leaders

Team Leaders oversee staff, operations and case direction within their region. They provide supervision, make key decisions and ensure all work aligns with JCP Youth standards and expectations.

School and Community Team

The School and Community Team delivers programs, mentoring and engagement within schools and local communities. They focus on early intervention, connection and building positive pathways for young people.

Kaleido Camps

Kaleido Camps are structured, residential camp programs primarily facilitated by volunteers, with dedicated staff who oversee their development and delivery. Kaleido staff also contribute to community based programs across the state.

Executive Team

The Executive Team sets the strategic direction and ensures the organisation operates effectively at all levels. They oversee performance, partnerships, governance and long-term growth.

Voluntary board roles

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors provides governance, oversight and strategic guidance to ensure JCP Youth operates with integrity, accountability and long-term sustainability. All Board members serve in a voluntary capacity, contributing their time and expertise to support the organisation’s mission and impact.
