JCP Youth has welcomed Jamie Lawrence as a Director of its Board, adding extensive executive leadership and governance experience to the organisation supporting young people in Tasmania.
Jamie’s background spans the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. His particular areas of expertise include finance, strategy, audit and risk—skills that will contribute to the Board’s oversight and direction of JCP Youth.
His previous experience includes serving as Chair of a children’s charity and Chair of an Audit, Risk and Finance Committee, alongside several other board and executive leadership roles. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Experience with children and community
The appointment brings together professional expertise and a commitment to supporting children, young people and the wider community. Jamie’s experience chairing a children’s charity provides a connection to the purpose at the heart of JCP Youth’s work.
In announcing the appointment, JCP Youth recognised both his skills and that commitment as valuable additions to the organisation.
