JCP Youth has welcomed Alex Bonde as its Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience across law enforcement, integrity, investigations and regulatory governance to the organisation’s executive team.
A background in leadership and investigations
Alex has held senior leadership positions, including as a Detective Senior Sergeant. His career has included leading complex investigations and integrity functions across a range of sectors, including the sporting industry.
That experience brings together operational leadership and work involving the standards, processes and responsibilities that underpin organisations. In announcing the appointment, JCP Youth highlighted his ability to strengthen governance and policy frameworks alongside his experience leading teams.
Specialist experience and continued study
Alex holds an Associate Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Tasmania and is completing Professional Honours in Public Sector Management. He has also completed the State Service Strategic Management Program.
His specialist experience includes training as a physical surveillance operative and service within police technical and bomb response units. He has also participated in advanced Australia–New Zealand Counter-Terrorism Committee surveillance and evaluation programs.
Joining the executive team
JCP Youth’s announcement recognised Alex’s ability to build teams grounded in trust, accountability and professionalism. The organisation welcomed him to the executive team and expressed its enthusiasm for the experience and leadership he will bring.
